Problem Statement

  • Which problem do you want to solve?

The overall task of this diploma thesis is to provide an answer to the question which knowledge out of computer science can be used to realize I.T.S.. To specialize this whole topic, so that it can be handled in a diploma thesis, this work will concentrate on answering the question what infrastructure is necessary to provide a city-toll-system for a city like berlin for example.

In the practical part I'm going to provide an implementation for simulating the results found in the theoretical analysis. I will hopefully can give an answer to questions about the coverage abilities of the toll-system in different infrastructure examples.

  • To which domain of Computer Science does this problem relate to?

This problem is mostly related to practical computer science, in view to the diploma thesis, specialized in Mesh-Networks, wired network technologie and databases.

  • Why is the problem interesting? Why is it difficult?
